What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a natural and gentle modality that focuses on the spine and joints of the body and their
connection to the nervous system to ensure a healthy functioning musculoskeletal system. Doctors of
Chiropractic perform a thorough initial evaluation looking for imbalances in the spine that are driving
the pain, discomfort and functional disruptions such as limited mobility, weakness, etc. Once your
doctor has determined what areas of the spine are subluxated (under the most stress), a controlled but
gentle adjustment will be delivered to those areas and an individualized course of treatment will be
discussed with you.

Children benefit greatly from chiropractic care! While kids may not self-report pain like adults do,
children are the in the fastest growth and development phase that they will ever be in in their lives, both
physically and neurologically. This rapid growth and development puts a lot of stress on their spine and
joints so it is imperative to address and correct those subluxations.
